TRAXIO partners with Unifiedpost Group to prepare members for mandatory e-invoicing by 2026
The Belgian mobility organization TRAXIO has entered into a partnership with Unifiedpost Group, a Belgian technology company, to assist its members in preparing for the transition to mandatory e-invoicing. Through this collaboration, TRAXIO aims to support businesses ahead of the legal requirement that will take effect on January 1, 2026.

E-invoicing: what’s changing?
Starting January 1, 2026, all Belgian VAT-registered companies will be required to exchange electronic invoices (e-invoices) with one another. An e-invoice is a structured electronic file, meaning that paper and PDF invoices will no longer be permitted for B2B transactions.
Recent data shows that only 15% of Belgian companies are currently ready for this transition. This highlights the need for many businesses to take significant steps to ensure compliance before the implementation date.
Luc Missante, General Director of TRAXIO, emphasizes the importance of this partnership:
“We are very pleased with this collaboration. Through this partnership, we will be able to properly inform and guide our members regarding mandatory e-invoicing. Unifiedpost's international experience will be highly valuable in this process.”
Christophe Vanhoutte, Country Manager at Unifiedpost Group, adds:
“While e-invoicing is becoming a legal obligation, it also offers numerous benefits for businesses. It enables faster payments, reduces errors, and streamlines the invoicing process. We are excited to highlight these advantages through TRAXIO and help entrepreneurs navigate this crucial digital transition.”
