Unifiedpost Group and Count-e will relieve schools of administrative burden
Unifiedpost, the listed expert in electronic invoicing, will support more than 1,200 Flemish schools to digitalise and automate billing flows.
Unifiedpost and Linkmanage are joining forces for this purpose. Besides the digitalisation of the incoming invoices, they offer solutions to send the school accounts electronically and to have them paid by the parents. The goal of this partnership with Count-e, the bookkeeping software of Linkmanage from Leuven, used by more than 80% of the Flemish free schools, is clear: relieve schools of administrative burden and give them more time and budget to focus on their educational and care tasks.
Unifiedpost will personally guide the more than 1,200 Flemish schools, which today work with the accounting package Count-e, in digitalising and processing incoming invoices. At the same time they will be able to simplify outgoing invoices, school accounts and payments. This is made possible by Unifiedpost's platform Billtobox, a familiar product on the local SME market. For the Belgian listed technology company, which already exists for twenty years and employs more than 1,400 people in 32 countries, this is in fact not the first sector partnership in our country. A partnership with Embuild was recently concluded in order to support construction companies in digitalising their invoices. Unifiedpost does the same for its northern neighbours with Bouwend Nederland and also provides e-invoicing platforms for countries such as Serbia and France. In Belgium, Unifiedpost has been working for years with ITAA (professional federation of accountants), Federgon (professional federation of HR service providers such as temporary employment agencies) and Assuralia (federation of insurance companies). Moreover, Unifiedpost already provides the technology for pay slips and other documents at www.mijnonderwijs.be of the Agency for Training and Education of the Flemish Government.
Luc Caubergh, Sales Director of Unifiedpost Benelux:
"Almost every day the media sound the alarm when it comes to the shortage of teachers and resources in education. More than ever it is therefore necessary that these institutions can concentrate on their core tasks. As a technology company, we are therefore elated to be able to contribute to this significant administrative relief at more than a thousand schools. For us, the partnership with Count-e exemplifies how our company works: our technology and network are global and universal, but always locally tailored to the needs of specific legislations and sectors."
Dirk Fannes, CEO of Count-e:
"For 25 years we have been supporting schools in their financial processes with our software Count-e. Also in schools there is a great need and interest to digitalise, but resources are sometimes limited. By entering into strategic partnerships, we want to focus on digitalisation and professionalisation but at an affordable price. Through the partnership with Unifiedpost, we give schools and school boards access to technology that is otherwise out of their reach. This is a win-win situation for all parties."
