With a presence across Europe, Unifiedpost Group brings to the market a comprehensive, fully digitalised, financial and payment solutions. And, following a spate of strategic acquisitions between November 2018 and April 2019 comprising ADM solutions, Inventive Designers and the Baltics-based Fitek Group, the business is setting its sights on continued expansion through 2020 and beyond.

In preparation, the business sought the support of The Reference to deliver a dynamic branding concept and scalable, user-friendly corporate website to underpin its new positioning.

A dynamic FinTech brand asks for a ‘dynamic branding’ approach

Unifiedpost Group sought a brand concept that could scale to accommodate its growing product portfolio, which already includes BilltoBox, PAY-NXT and Z-login.

The system starts with one base shape, representing the original service of Unifiedpost Group - digitalising documents. Three more shapes were added representing its growing capabilities – identity management, payment and platforms, which finally evolve to create  a unique icon, establishing Unifiedpost Group’s new brand marque.

Speaking of the design, Ivo Blomme, Design Director at The Reference, explained:

“This system allowed us to create a multitude of dynamic branded shapes, representing a unified outcome of services that maintains visual brand consistency. This gives Unifiedpost Group a unique dynamic identity that suits its digital nature”.

Building strong foundations for the future

The new positioning and web presence provides a fresh platform upon which Unifiedpost Group can establish further growth, according to Hans Jacobs, Chief Commercial Officer. He added:

“Unifiedpost Group evolved from document processing to a FinTech company, digitalising the businesses entire financial value chain. Our purpose is to structure these complex financial ecosystems with convenient and smart digital solutions. We want our clients to see the possibilities of our company in our new brand.”

“We have decided to go for a strong visualisation of our past, our current situation and our future. Since our industry is rapidly changing and Unifiedpost Group has high ambitions for the future, the logo should be dynamic. It is constantly changing, just like our company.”

Sitecore® ensuring ultimate customer experience

For its new corporate website, Unifiedpost Group opted for Sitecore®, a stable and future proof platform that supports growth. Sitecore® makes it possible to scale up perfectly to the customer’s need. As a Sitecore Platinum Partner with extensive knowledge of the Sitecore Experience PlatformTM (XP), The Reference was able to meet the challenging delivery schedule by using the newly introduced Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA).

“Our web development teams use SXA to speed up the production of websites and to reuse components, layouts, and templates across a variety of sites”, explains John De Wever, Marketing & Communication Director at The Reference. “It separates structure from design, so front-end designers, creative designers, content authors, and developers can work in parallel. A way of working that enables us to significantly increase the speed to market.”
